Each figure is checked against the filing or page it came from before its class goes live. SEC figures list their XBRL concept. Prices list the date they were read.
Every number in a class names the company and the period it came from. Each course page lists them all in one table.
Each number is pulled from the company's own filing or published page. Nothing is quoted from a news story or a summary.
Each SEC figure lists the XBRL concept it came from, such as AssetsCurrent, NetIncomeLoss or PaymentsOfDividends. Look up the same concept and you get the same number.
A figure worked out from others is labeled derived, and the class shows the math. For example, Apple's cost of sales is total net sales minus gross margin.
Every class that uses a published price, such as an AI model price, states the day it was read. A price older than ninety days is flagged for a recheck.
Each company was picked because its filings are public and its numbers are easy to learn from.

Tenurable isn't affiliated with any of these companies. Their figures come from reports they published themselves.
A few sources aren't companies. They set the rules a filing follows or the benchmark a claim is measured against.
A figure that fails a check is fixed before the class goes live. If a number can't be found in the record, no class uses it.
